ABOUT SHANIE

Through yoga, Shanie found a deep understanding and relationship with her body, mind and inner self. This awesome self-realization is what inspired her to teach yoga. Shanie teaches yoga by linking breath and movement with a strong focus on alignment so that students may safely access all benefits of the postures. She gives hands-on adjustments but also encourages students to get into their own bodies. Her motto is, “Yoga is a practice, not a perfect“. She loves chanting, sweating and laughing in yoga! Shanie completed her Kundalini Teacher Training (KRI Level 1) in 2015 and her 200-RYT in 2016. She loves being a constant student of yoga and fulfills this with daily practice and studies. Her greatest hope and dream is to share the amazing practice of yoga with others. “Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu…”
